Common questions
How do I enter my own club distances?
Open the My clubs tab. Tap a club's carry or roll box and type your average distance. You can rename clubs, add new ones, or remove clubs you don't carry. Changes save automatically.
The app starts with numbers I didn't enter. Why?
The first time you open the app, it fills in sample distances so you can try it right away. Replace them with your own numbers on the My clubs tab.
How do I switch between yards and meters?
Use the yd / m switch at the top right of the screen. Your clubs and your target distance convert automatically, and the app remembers your choice.
What's the difference between matching carry and matching carry + roll?
Match carry finds the club whose carry lands closest to your target. Match carry + roll finds the club whose carry plus roll out finishes closest to your target. The app shows your two closest clubs so you can adjust for wind, elevation, or lie.
The suggested club doesn't seem right.
The app uses the numbers you enter, so check the carry and roll values for the clubs involved. Averages from real shots work best.
Did I lose my clubs?
Your clubs are stored on your phone only. They stay there until you delete the app or use Reset to sample values on the My clubs tab. Because nothing is stored online, they can't be recovered after deleting the app.
What information does the app collect?
None. See the privacy policy for details.
